Canon has developed the world's first compact camera with 35x zoom, the PowerShot SX30 IS
Canon Australia  has developed the world’s first compact camera with 35x zoom allowing users to get in close to capture those important life moments. Precision image quality is guaranteed with a 24mm wide angle lens.
The PowerShot SX30 IS features 14.1 megapixels ensuring true to life photos that can be enlarged and printed up to A2 size. Optimal image stability means quality, crisp shots that are not compromised by zoom. The DiG!C 4 Image Processor allows the compact camera to deliver higher picture quality with faster processing speed.
The compact cameras automatically detect flash requirements and adjust the flash output, shutter speed, aperture and ISO speed to the appropriate settings.
Users can take picture perfect images of their family and friends with a new auto mode including features such as face detection and selector, face detection self-timer and track, red-eye correction and blink detection.
